In order to comply with government legislation and to reduce the likelihood of accidents at work, organisations are required to implement a programme of Portable Electrical Appliance and Fire Equipment Testing.
Under the Electricity at Work Regulations, all appliances with a mains voltage plug attached (computer equipment, white goods, vacuum cleaners, TVs) must be inspected annually. Fire equipment such as extinguishers are also subject to regular inspection.
Our team of accredited technicians can either carry out one-off inspections or implement a programme of visits to your premises. Fire equipment and portable electrical appliances are inspected, tested and entered into a register. Clients receive an asset report with condition, maintenance or replacement recommendations.
